Jillian has an MA in movement and choreography from the Laban Institute, UK granted in 2009. Her holistic approach to health and wellness led Jillian to discover Pilates in 2000. It has deepened her awareness of her body in movement. Increasing her potential as a dancer, and lessening her susceptibility to injury.
Jillian became Balanced Body certified in 2010 on all 5 machines. Her approach to Pilates as an instructor is based on biomechanics and how the body will naturally and efficiently work when properly aligned. Her extensive background in movement allows Jillian to cater to the client’s individual fitness goals or therapeutic concerns.
